Pastoral Team Member (Pastoral Care)

The Pastoral Team Member will work under the supervision of the Pastor-in-Charge, and/or with the Pastor assigned to carry out the duties of planning, organising and managing the assigned ministries towards attaining the vision of Fairfield Methodist Church.

Objective:

To provide meaningful pastoral care support and membership care that is relevant and age appropriate to the needs of our members and worshippers.

• Execute an effective system of providing pastoral care to members and worshippers
• Provide spiritual support in palliative care, bereavement care and the troubled
• Pastoral visitations and coordination of homebound, hospitalisation, wakes and funerals
• Facilitate the Home/Hospital Visitation & Care Team
• Recruit, train, and encourage volunteers to resource and provide ministry of caring, e.g. FFMC Care Team, Visitation team
