About the role

Unsworth Secondary School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Pastoral Lead to join our team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives, supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development of a whole year group.

Working closely alongside the Head of Year, you will be the first point of contact for pastoral matters within your year group — building trusted relationships with students, families, and external agencies to ensure every young person receives the support they need to thrive.
