St. Nicholas School is seeking a
Pastoral Coordinator
to support students in Secondary. The Pastoral Coordinator at St Nicholas Alphaville is responsible for holding together four interconnected systems: form tutor relationships, student wellbeing, safeguarding, and behaviour. The person we are looking for is not afraid of a difficult conversation, be it with a student, a parent, or a colleague, and understands that a pastoral culture built on relationships still requires clear boundaries and consistent consequences. This is a complex leadership position, not a welfare role. Four pillars of the role Form tutor leadership Developing and supporting tutors as frontline pastoral practitioners Student wellbeing Coordinating support systems across the secondary school Safeguarding Upholding standards and working closely with the safeguarding team Behaviour culture Proactive culture-building and firm, consistent responses when needed
