**Job Description Summary**
The Lead Production Quality Specialist reports to the GE Aerospace Lafayette Quality Leader and works in a self-directed teaming structure. This role is responsible for quality assurance and quality control in the Passport Assembly operation at Lafayette.

+ Utilize FLIGHT DECK tools to drive quality improvements

+ Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control. Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes. Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.
+ Advocate for and lead proactive quality improvement projects (focused on predictive quality);
+ Responsible for interfacing with customers;
+ Drive and support successful internal and external audits;
+ Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others;
