Are you interested in making a difference to the lives of children and parents/carers living in Torbay? We have several vacant positions for Home to School Transport Passenger Assistants. This is primarily a term‑time‑only position.

As a Passenger Assistant, you would typically be required to be available from around 7.15am/7.30am to 9.15am/9.30am and 2.15pm/2.30pm to 4.30pm/4.45pm, Monday to Friday, to support school transport runs throughout the Bay.

You will usually be picked up from and dropped off at your home by the transport provided (bus or taxi) when undertaking Passenger Assistant duties. You will need to be flexible, dedicated and sensitive to the individual needs of the children, providing reassurance and practical support. You wi...
