**Job Description**

The Parts Hanger supports the painting department by preparing, handling, and organizing parts before they move through the finishing process. This entry-level role focuses on washing, hanging, and staging components while maintaining a clean and safe work area and assisting the grinding department as needed.

**Responsibilities**

+ Power wash parts to prepare them for painting and finishing.
+ Hang and place parts securely on racks in preparation for painting or powder coating.
+ Empty baskets of parts and put parts away in the correct locations to keep work areas organized.
+ Chip hooks and racks as needed to remove buildup and ensure proper function and cleanliness.
+ Keep the floor free of water and debris to maintain a safe and tidy work environment.
+ Inspect equipment and parts for any areas that were missed during grinding and communicate or correct as needed.
