Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with articulation, voice, fluency or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to remediate speech and/or language disabilities that interfere with the students’ ability to access the full benefit from the educational program. Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEP) in compliance with Federal/state law and local district policy and procedures.
 DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Complete independent multi-disciplinary evaluations to assess students to determine the presence of a speech impairment/disorder.

Provide appropriate therapy to students consistent with speech and language goals contained in the Individual Education Plans (IEP). 

Evaluate student progress and make determinations regarding therapy services.
