Responsibilities
**Position Summary**
The Data Comm Avionics Lab at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) seeks a Technical Support Specialist to operate, maintain, and enhance the lab's capabilities in support of CPDLC (Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications) and DCNS (Data Communications Network Services) interoperability testing. This position requires intimate knowledge of the lab's design, construction, and installed systems/networks to maintain the current infrastructure and develop additional capabilities and scenarios as operational needs arise.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Operate and maintain the Data Comm avionics lab environment, ensuring continuous availability for CPDLC and DCNS interoperability testing
+ Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Flight Management Systems (FMS) within the lab
