Part Time Sleep Technologist

**Overview**

**Part time: 7p-7:30a**

**Description**

+ Operates polysomnographic recording equipment used to record and evaluate sleep/wake disorders.
+ Performs monitoring that includes transcutaneous and End-Tidal CO₂ measurements.
+ Scores polysomnographic recordings in preparation for physician interpretation.
+ Performs additional related duties as required.

Equipment and Supplies

+ Operates and calibrates polysomnographic equipment to ensure accurate recordings.

Patient Care and Advocacy

+ Reviews patient medical charts and confirms physician orders and required protocols.
+ Interviews patients to assess:
+ Current sleep patterns
+ Medication allergies and conditions
+ Current medications
+ Alcohol or caffeine intake on the day of the test
+ Performs research studies according to protocol, which may include:
+ Full 10/20 EEG recordings
+ Assisting with development or documentation of r...
