Position: Part Time SEND TA

Hours: 1:00pm - 3:15pm
Smart Teachers are seeking a compassionate, resilient and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on a part-time basis from September.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with Autism (ASC). The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping the child access learning, develop social and emotional skills, and feel safe and supported throughout the school day.
The pupil may occasionally display behaviours that challenge, including episodes of physical dysregulation. As such, this role would suit someone who is calm, patient and confident in implementing positive behaviour support strategies while maintaining a nurturing and consistent approach.
