Reporting to the Associate Dean of Human Services & Community Safety, the incumbent develops and delivers a course in the Human Services and Community Safety academic area for the Pre-service Firefighter program. Courses are scheduled and delivered in the evening and are planned to be delivered in person or at the Barrie Campus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a course in the Pre-service Firefighter program (potential courses include, but are not limited to: FIRE1111 - Fire Safety Inspections).
• Develop and deliver appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives.
• Incorporate a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet student needs.
