Part-Time Phlebotomist II

We are hiring Part-Time Phlebotomist
Responsibilities

+ Perform venipuncture and blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles, ensuring safe and efficient collection from pediatric (ages 2+), adult, and geriatric patients.

+ Explain venipuncture, blood draw, and other specimen collection procedures (such as urine or fecal collection) clearly and courteously to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.

+ Collect, label, and store specimens according to established procedures and specific test requirements to maintain specimen integrity.

+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and verify all information to ensure 100% accuracy before processing.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of experience as a phlebotomist.

+ Proficiency in venipuncture and blood drawing using straight needles, including recent and consistent experience.
