Job Description
The Instructor will teach a 3-credit undergraduate elective introducing fundamental ideas in architecture and the built environment for students from a broad range of disciplines.
Responsibilities include preparation and delivery of lectures, assessment, grading, and course administration. Prior course materials may be available and the Instructor is encouraged to contribute their own expertise while supporting established learning outcomes.
This course investigates the function, geometry, and meaning of buildings. Students record and study the settings for their individual and public lives in Halifax, while lectures introduce important works around the world. Learning basic drawing and model-making skills enables students to design elementary spaces and structures.
