Part-time (.6) LTS 1:1 Special Education Teacher

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for a Part-Time (.6) LTS Special Education Teacher. The successful candidate will need to:


+ Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;

+ Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in ELA, literacy, content-area vocabulary instruction, and mathematics;

+ Maintain a recovery mindset;

+ Demonstrate an understanding of co-teaching methodology, differentiated, and blended learning;

+ Demonstrate the ability to understand and implement IEP goals;

+ Effectively manage several students, projects, and schedules simultaneously in a high-paced environment;

+ Able to build a positive rapport with students and parents;

+ Demonstrate the willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;
