Paramedics (ACP/PCP) And Emergency Medical Responders

Position: Paramedic (ACP/PCP) and Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) at Medavie Health Services West, Shamrock.

Location: Wadena, Wynyard, Foam Lake and Rose Valley, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent advance clinical care.
• Ensure safe transportation of individuals, including emergency and non-emergency responses and inter-facility transfers.
• Maintain and operate ambulances and related equipment following patient needs and public safety requirements.
• Meet clinical expectations and responsibilities for Advanced Care Paramedics as defined by the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP), Saskatchewan College of Paramedics registration requirements and Medavie Health Services West policies, procedures and protocols.
