Paralegal (Colombia)

Paralegal – Position: On‑site Bankruptcy Paralegal supporting a high‑volume Chapter 13 practice at a well‑established legal firm specializing in bankruptcy and tax law. This role supports attorneys with financial and legal documentation, client communication, and case tracking. Prior bankruptcy experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ideal candidates have experience in financial or banking environments, strong analytical skills, and solid Microsoft Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients to collect required documentation (pay stubs, tax returns, bank statements).
• Review, redact, organize, and prepare documentation for court filings.
• Perform income analysis and financial calculations using Microsoft Excel.
• Prepare bankruptcy‑related legal documents (affidavits, motions, objections, trustee correspondence).
