Hands of Heartland is looking for a compassionate and caring individual to work with the people we support as a Para-Educator.
What You'll Do: Under the guidance of a certified Special Education teacher, you will work with one or more school-age students with an IEP to provide targeted academic skills, daily living skills and social/emotional support to reduce or eliminate barriers to independent adult living. Students may need assistance with self-care and/or mobility. Coaches will work with students on their IEP goals and do daily data recording on these goals.
