Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all paint shop activities, including loading and unloading of parts, to meet production schedules
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of paint shop operatives to achieve output and quality targets
- Monitor team performance and provide coaching to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company health & safety policies and PPE requirements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure tasks are completed within target times
- Approve and review team timesheets, ensuring accuracy at the end of each shift
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and optimise machine/labour hours
- Ensure all equipment servicing and maintenance is carried out and recorded
- Manage storage and organisation of completed parts, including yard coordination
