Summary This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC); Office of the Chief Operating Officer, Superintendent, Senate Office Buildings; Assistant Superintendent, Tenant Services Division; Painting Branch. As a Painter, the incumbent's tasks include coating working on furnishings and buildings accomplished by standard methods and special finishing techniques including graining, marbling and mottling using coating materials prepared in special and common methods. Responsibilities MAJOR DUTIES Application of Coating Materials Performs coating work using accepted methods of the trade, including special finishing techniques such as marbling, mottling and graining. Plans the materials, tools and techniques needed for the work and completes the work with little or no advice.
