**Description:**

Job Title: Painter - Paper Hanger

Employment Type: Full-Time 40 hours per week

Shift: Days
Location: Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital

**As a Painter - Paper Hanger you will:**

+ Paints and redecorates walls, woodwork, furniture, metal surfaces, fixtures and other items.
+ Scrapes, brushes or burns-off old paint and varnishes.
+ fills holes, cracks and openings with putty or other filler.
+ Mixes colors, oils and other paint ingredients to obtain proper color and consistency or thins ready-mixed paints.
+ Applies paints and finishes with brushes, rollers, spray equipment or rags.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ High school graduate and/or vocational training.
+ Proficiency in blending paints and use of scaffolding.
+ Minimum of five (5) year experience and currently working in the trade.
