£30,656.92 per annum

Contract

Permanent - 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Work on painting and decorating tasks within the prison facilities, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary maintenance team that includes plumbers, electricians, carpenters, cleaners and administrators. Provide a safe and clean environment for prisoners, staff and visitors. Apply health and safety practices to ensure compliance while using appropriate techniques and materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating, or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in a similar role
• Experience working within a maintenance team
• Honest and reliable character, able to approach work with purpose and pace
