Job overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Urgent and Emergency Care Paediatric Nurse who is keen to develop their professional knowledge and clinical skills and undertake a Paediatric Trainee Urgent Care Practitioner post at St Richards Hospital. The role will involve 6 months supernumerary working alongside experienced Practitioners across University Hospitals Sussex in both the Emergency Departments and Urgent Treatment Centres. There will be an expectation that you will travel across the different sites during your training period.

Under direct and indirect supervision, you will learn to assess, treat and diagnose paediatric patients presenting to the Children's ED and UTC with minor injuries and illness as well as more complex and chronic conditions.
