Packaging/ Machine Operator

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Packing/Machine Operator to work for a well established manufacturing business based in Leicestershire

This is expected to be a temp to perm position

The Job:

They are looking for an experienced machine operator in the production/manufacturing setting

You will be responsible for maintain the continuous running of our packaging machines 

You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to

Which can include:

• Facilitate product change overs including the loading of polyethylene reels
• Responsible for the effective running of the log saw as and when required
• Interact with the machine to solve minor issues/breakdown leading to the enhanced productivity of the machines
• Carry out quality checks on productions when required and report any faults to the respective person
• Carry out small maintenance activities and adjustme...
