Overhead Beam Crane Operator (Shift 3, Mon-Fri, 12am-8am)

A Crane Operator utilizes overhead beam cranes
to move large generator rotors (15 to 300 tons) to various stands, rolls, and
machines throughout the production process.

**How You’ll Make anImpact**

+ Safely rig, lift, transport, and loadgenerator rotors onto fixed stands, roller stands, and machines, such aslathes and horizontal boring mills.
+ Regularly inspect lifting equipment
+ Assist with mechanical hand skills tasks inother work areas of the department such as rotor winding, assembly, andbalance on an as-needed basis

· Engage
in continuous improvement by applying 5S methodology as a component of a Lean
production system.

**What You Bring**

+ High school degree orequivalent with 1+ years of crane operating experience
+ Working knowledge of common hand tools
+ Must be able to obtain criticallift crane operation certification through Siemens Energy internal certificationprograms
