Outage Planner

We have an outstanding opportunity to join the PowerNet System Control team as an Outage Planner in our Invercargill office.

Although we are looking for an experienced Outage Planner, this can also be an opportunity to step up your career, to learn how to plan, coordinate and manage all of our major planned network outages and the release of network equipment ensuring that safety and supply quality is maintained.

Our network is vast with over 75,000 customers ranging from remote locations, towns to New Zealand’s southernmost city. You will be an integral part of the System Control team ensuring safe access on the network to our field teams and safe supply to our customers.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

• NZQA Level 4 certificate in electricity distribution, engineering or related field or equivalent
