As our Orthopedic Trauma Advanced Practitioner, you will be a vital contributor to our Phoenix, Arizona-based healthcare team, delivering specialized acute orthopedic care for patients with diverse conditions. This Per Diem Orthopedic NP/PA role focuses on expert inpatient surgical management, encompassing comprehensive preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative care. Your expertise will be crucial in trauma care coordination and ensuring optimal patient outcomes within a fast-paced environment.
Every day you will actively participate in a rotating 24-hour first call schedule for the Orthopedic service, expertly first-assisting in orthopedic surgeries, and conducting thorough inpatient rounds. You will be instrumental in interdisciplinary care coordination with our Medical and Trauma teams, providing critical ER consultations, accurate diagnoses, and developing appropriate treatment plans.
