Job description:
***This position does NOT include surgeries. It is primarily outpatient procedures and casting. Please read job duties below***
REQUIRED:
* HSD/GED
***1 year of experience in an outpatient setting
*** Proficiency in plaster and fiberglass casting and splinting
Preferred:
* Registered Ortho Tech (ASOP)
Job Duties:
1. Apply and remove a variety of splints, plaster, and fiberglass casts, and request x-rays as indicated under the direction of a physician
2. Perform special procedures like windowing and wedging, and assist in complex procedures like pin removal and application of traction.
