Oracle Database Administrator

We are partnering with a large consulting company supporting a federal agency to deliver a critical v12 to v19 Oracle upgrade. This is a high impact role sitting at the centre of a major data infrastructure transformation.

You will take ownership of database performance, availability and security, working closely with developers and system administrators to ensure a smooth and stable upgrade.

What you will be doing:

• Lead installation, configuration and upgrade of Oracle 12c to 19c
• Manage and optimise Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments
• Execute backup and recovery strategies using RMAN
• Monitor performance and implement tuning strategies
• Ensure database security and compliance with federal standards
• Support application deployment during upgrade activities
• Maintain documentation, standards and governance controls
• Collaborate across infrastructure and development teams
