OR104620 – Occupational Therapist

This is an OT role in an Urgent Response OT team –excellent manual handling experience and working autonomously is required as it is the main part of the role.
1 day duty OT per week

We are a busy, pressured team, covering the whole borough of Barnet – car driver preferable. We offer monthly supervision and day to day support for the right candidate

Must be a team player – we are a small team, who are proactive and positive about providing an excellent service

Urgent Response Occupational Therapy team referral criteria

We complete Occupational Therapy and Moving and Handling Risk assessments for referrals that meet the followinginclusion criteria:

• Moving and handling cases where there is no equipment or current equipment is no longer appropriate
• High risk of physical injury to carers (e.g. Involved in inappropriate transfers)
• A safeguarding concern that relates to equipment or manual handling
