Position: OR Tech/Surgical Technologist
Facility type: Acute Care Hospital
Location: Herrin, IL 62948
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
Schedule: 4 days a week with rotating day off throughout the week/1 weeknight and 2 weekend days a month for call requirements.
Guaranteed hours by week: 36

Responsibility:-
- Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries.
- Sterilizing equipment and instruments.
- Stocking adequate supplies for surgery.
- Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites.
- Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies.
- Tracking surgical supplies.
- Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
- Surgical Tech certificate certified through NBSTSA.
- BLS (AHA).
