Optometry Technician

**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As an Optometry Technician you will provide patient care such as ordering glasses, equipment sterilization, ancillary testing, restocking meds, and assisting patients with frame selection and order. You work under the supervision of and report to the Optometrist.

**Primary Tasks:**
1. Perform test including auto refraction, obtain visual acuities, visual field testing, reading glasses prescriptions, and OCT testing
2. Obtain intraocular pressures, instilling medication into the eyes, and retinal photography.
3. Record the chief complaint and reason for exam, pupillary evaluation, extraocular muscle evaluation, and equipment sterilization.
