For our team in Leiden, we are looking for an enthusiastic operator. As part of this team, you will be responsible for carrying out the USP and DSP processes for the production of advanced therapeutics. The team produces the first batches of new products to scale and are a corner stone in the pipeline toward new medicines.


You will be required to adhere to work in a clean room under GMP guidelines, and your activities will include:
Medium preparation;
Assembly and disassembly of bioreactors of 250L, 500L and 1000L size;
Upstream processing (Fermentation) of various cell lines and the monitoring of the process;
Downstream processing of the products using for example different filtration techniques and column chromatography;
Analysis of samples from the production process to ensure compliance to the specifications is being met;
Documentation and data entry following GMP guidelines;
