Job Description

Job Title: Operator 1 - Packager

Primary Function:

Process and package finished products according to customer-specified packaging requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties:

The duties listed below are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed. Team members may be assigned additional tasks as needed.
Inspect finished products, identify defects, and discard defective items.
Collect packaging materials and package finished goods to meet customer order specifications.
Print and apply labels to match packaged product specifications.
Assemble and label packaging boxes.
Operate a metal detector to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
Count finished products to ensure they match specified label quantities.
Properly label and case finished products for shipment.
Complete work orders and accurately document processed goods.
