Description
The Operations Supervisor is responsible to manage a team of operators conducting general distribution warehouse activities, including inventory sorting and put away, picking, and packing orders using warehouse systems and equipment. The Supervisor must plan, direct, and analyze the productivity metrics of the team while engaging each operator to work safely, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner. Additionally, as a people leader the expectation is to promote continuous process improvements and build a culture centered around employee engagement and LS&Co values.
About the job:
Supervise a layered team of non-exempt employees to manage workflow and achieve daily objectives within set metrics. Up to 90% of time on warehouse floor.
