Operations Supervisor

Operations Supervisor – Slegg Building Materials, Duncan, BC.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination of shipping, operations, and transportation teams.
• Provide clear direction to operations staff to maximize effectiveness.
• Assist the Operations Manager with operations management duties.
• Assist the General Manager with operations management duties.
• Measure and report effectiveness of the warehouse, shipping, operations, and transportation teams.
• Travel to locations for training, support, and supervision as needed.
• Measure and support maintenance programs and servicing.
• Provide coaching to all operations teams.
• Enforce the company’s safety program.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by delivery schedules and workflow.
