Operations Supervisor

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end ocean freight shipments (FCL and LCL) import and export from enquiry and booking through to delivery and file closure.
• Handle multiple live shipments and client accounts concurrently, tracking cut‑offs, sailing schedules and documentation deadlines across all active files.
• Book space with carriers, co‑loaders and NVOCCs, negotiate and confirm rates, and manage rollovers or schedule changes proactively.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (original, telex express, Seaway), manifests, certificates of origin and shipping instructions.
• Coordinate customs clearance and inland transport, liaising with clearing agents, transporters and port terminal systems (Jebel Ali, DP World portals).
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for assigned clients, providing timely status updates and resolving issues before they escalte.
