Description Of The Guelph Tool Library

The Guelph Tool Library is a volunteer run, not for profit corporation that has been operating in Guelph, Ontario for 10 years with a philosophy of reducing waste through re-use, lending, and promoting a sharing and caring community. We operate a membership-driven Tool Library in downtown Guelph in a 3000 sq. ft. retail space which houses, as well as our Library, Program space, a Bicycle repair hub, and our offices. We operate an annual budget of approximately $200,000 which is made up of Library income, a strategic Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with the City of Guelph, and specific operational grants.
