Operations Manager - Coal Fire Power Plant

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of Coal-Fired Power Plant.
• Analyze daily boiler and turbine thermal efficiency data to minimize fuel consumption and heat losses.
• Drive overall productivity and economic functioning, keeping the cost of power generation optimal. Monitor plant technical systems and unit efficiency against design set points.
• Identify systemic equipment degradation, analyze performance deviations, and implement corrective operational adjustments.
• Oversee LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) protocols, risk mitigation, and strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) compliance. Enforce a zero error operations culture.
• Prepare annual expense and capital budgets, manage operating costs, and coordinate planned outages with maintenance teams.
