Pharmacy Operations processes more than 12,000 inpatient dispenses daily , each requiring accurate documentation, charge compliance, and correct drug configuration within Epic. Scope of Work
Pharmacy Operations processes more than 12,000 inpatient dispenses daily , each requiring accurate documentation, charge compliance, and correct drug configuration within Epic. In addition, Home Care, Retail, and Specialty pharmacy services continue to expand, increasing the complexity of billing, reimbursement, and regulatory oversight.
Key operational responsibilities include:
- Daily review of inpatient pharmacy charges to ensure documentation and charge compliance.
- Ownership of Epic pharmacy work queues and medication error baskets.
- Investigation and resolution of undocumented dispenses and billing discrepancies.
- Assist with 340B claim submission requirements.
