OPERATIONAL MANAGER NURSING SPECIALITY UNIT (PN-B3) Reference Number: refs/ Directorate: OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY Number of Posts: 1 Requirements Grade 12 certificate or equivalent. Basic R425 qualification (i.e. Degree/Diploma in nursing) or equivalent qualification that allows registration with South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse with Midwifery. An additional qualification registered with SANC according to Regulation R212 in Health Services Management/Nursing Administration (Degree or Diploma). A minimum of nine (9) years of appropriate/recognizable experience in Nursing after registration as a Professional Nurse with the SANC in General Nursing. At least five (5) years of the period referred to above must be appropriate/recognizable experience in Operating Theatre department after obtaining the one (1) year post basic qualification in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science – Operating Theatre Nursing.
