About the role:

We are looking for safety-conscious individuals with the relevant shunt qualifications to join our Perth based Perth rail operations team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to progress towards becoming a qualified Locomotive Driver, as our Trainee Driver positions are filled by top performers from our Operational Maintainer ranks. • Control the movement of trains and carry out relevant instructions always maintaining safety
• Home station is Forrestfield depot, but can also be rostered to work at the Kwinana operations as required
• Inspect for faults, repair, service and maintain rollingstock
• Support maintenance of locomotives, ancillary vehicles, machines, and equipment
• Conduct brake testing of trains
