Operation Theatre Manager

Responsibilities

Coordinate the overall management and efficient operation of the operating theatre. Compliance to professional and ethical practice. Accountable for coordinating training, development and mentoring of staff in the Unit. Expected to apply and manage the best and most effective operational practice by focusing on the integration of current and available resources.

Requirements

• Degree in nursing with Post Basic in Peri Operative Nursing
• Possess valid APC
• More than 15 years' experience in nursing with managerial hands‑on in operating theatre
• Excellent organisational skills and interpersonal skills
• Computer Literacy essential
• Analytical thinking
• Must be able to function effectively independently
