Job Description
This position is an essential part of Sherwin’s manufacturing team. This position follows detailed processing instructions to pre-batch and blend raw materials to create a batch of industrial or architectural colorant. This position performs various manufacturing tasks as assigned and is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment. Select, pull, measure, and stage raw materials for manufacturing Follow batch slip instructions to incorporate raw materials in high-speed mixers to mix and blend batches Make lab adjustments, incorporate approved samples, and maintain raw material samples from daily premixes Operate paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment such as high-speed dispersers (HSDs), pumps, valves, battery chargers, drum handling equipment, and forklifts, etc., in an efficient and safe manner Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality Comply with policies and standard operating ...
