Operating Room Technician

Overview

Operating Room Technicians are responsible for providing an aseptic environment that enables the safe performance of operative procedures in both static (home) and operational (deployed) settings. They are an integral member of the surgical team, providing perioperative and post‑operative care, assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists, performing orthopaedic casting, and managing all Medical Device Reprocessing services, including processing, decontamination, maintenance and sterilization of surgical instruments.

Primary Duties

• Provide a clean and safe environment for patient treatment and assist surgeons and anesthesiologists in all facets of the operative procedure.
• Operationally maintain all field OR equipment and provide on‑site training for OR field operations, overseeing the setup of a field OR.
