Operating Engineer

+ **Amentum** has an **Operating Engineer (HV Shop)** position opening at our **Springfield, VA** location. The licensed Operating Engineer operates and Maintains one or more systems that provide an establishment with such services as heat, air-conditioning, refrigeration, steam or high-temperature water or electricity in the CUP. **Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.** Essential Responsibilities:
+ Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters and charts which register various aspects of the system and to meet demand for the service provided
+ Record logs in various aspects of the systems operation, keeping the engines, machinery and equipment of the system in good working order
+ Direct and coordinate activities of other workers in performing task directly related to operating and maintaining the system or systems
