Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital as an Operating Engineer in the Facilities / Engnrng &Trades Department. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Operating Engineer performs daily building maintenance duties including, but not limited to inspection, operation, repair and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, steam and hot water systems and equipment; meets productivity standards; and performs other duties inherent in the job. Knows, follows and actively supports the philosophy, mission and Vision of Ingalls Hospital. The Operating Engineer adheres to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
