Open-Source Specialist, Journeyman

**Overview**

The Open-Source Specialist performs a variety of complex tasks, which include the collection, analysis and reporting of information vital to IED/bombing prevention throughout the United States. These tasks support a critical operations environment and include the proper triage and routing of time-sensitive information to the correct person or office.

This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse.

**Responsibilities**

+ Collection and passing of open-source information specifically related to IED/bombing prevention.
+ Monitoring a variety of open-source information such as online media sources, specific company news feeds, news media channels, social media, online group/chat discussion boards, and other particular websites for information relating to IED/bombing prevention activities/threats/trends.
