UPMC Department of Pediatrics is hiring a casual OP Nurse Coordinator to join their Allergy and Immunology office. This is a weekday, daylight position with no evening or weekend hours. This role offers flexible working hours.
Main responsibilities of this role are to schedule patient via Epic from Cerner messages, email, and phone call requests, ensure order are placed for Infusion Center for upcoming appointments, tracking folders, and more.
Purpose:
The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator is a Registered Nurse is a member of the care delivery team. The Outpatient Nurse Coordinator is responsible for the care of the patient in a global view, accountable for multiple aspects of the patient care package even when patient contact is minimized.
