OOH Veterinary Surgeon

Overview

Our busy small animal surgery in Romford is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join the Out of Hours team. This part‑time role follows a 7 nights on / 14 nights off pattern, with Monday to Friday nights 8 pm–8:15 am and weekends 6 pm–9 am.

We are located in RM7 0AN, Romford. The practice provides free on‑site parking, excellent transport links into central London (25 min) and to the Essex countryside (20 min), and is conveniently situated near Stansted, City & Southend Airport.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Existing UK veterinary experience, confidence as sole charge, competence in most emergency surgical procedures and strong diagnostic and medicinal skill set.
• Excellent people skills, flexible approach to practice, passion for the team, and a commitment to delivering top‑notch customer service in a consult room environment.
