Oncology Resident Medical Officer - Medrecruit

Our client is advertising an opportunity for an Oncology RMO to permanently join their team at a public hospital in New Zealand's North Island.

The ideal cover date for this position is from 20 April - 20 July 2026.

This Hospital, located in Hamilton, is the major tertiary referral hospital for the region providing specialised and emergency medicine with the capacity for 700+ inpatients as well as outpatients.

The location

Situated in the heart of the North Island this diverse region encompasses New Zealand's fourth largest city, the country's longest river, and world-famous caves with glow worms and adventure tourism activities. Well-known for its nature-based tourism, underground adventure and off-the-beaten-track experiences, the region offers something for everyone, from the stunning black sand surf beaches to a vibrant café scene and the rolling hills and majestic forests that shape the landscape.
